Following the untimely death of legendary dance teacher Mavis Taberner some weeks ago a memorial concert will be held in her honour at the Theatre Royal St. Helens. It will be attended by many of Mavis' former pupils and students which include Graeme Henderson . Graeme will perform at the concert and will dedicate his unique tapping 'Hamlet' and 'Crazy Rhythm' to his former teacher "She was a remarkable and inspiring woman. A one-off. The phrase 'tough love' was invented for Mavis Taberner. She will be sadly missed - but with us always". Posted 22nd May 2010
