One man’s story and Everyman’s life expressed through the music, the people and the rhythm of tap.

Tap/estry had its premiere at the 2000 Edinburgh Festival and continued the theme of fusing tap with theatrical elements.

Much lauded moments:

Shakespeare tap – Graeme combined rhythms of the “To be or not to be” speech from Hamlet with some fabulous accompanying tap rhythms;

Roller-skate tap - a wonderful, comedic routine to the music of William Walton’s “Façade”

Comedy tap
– Graeme demonstrates that all dance forms are essentially off-shoots of Tap Dancing eg:-

...Irish dancing
... tap with your arms glued to your sides
...Morris dancing
.. .tap with all the sex, style and flair .removed and replaced with a couple of sticks with bells on
...Flamenco
... tap in tight trousers
...Piano Tap
... tapping whilst playing and singing at the piano.

Astaire Tap – a dazzling montage of some of Fred Astaire’s routines

"Tap doesn't get any better than this. A delight."
